After moving to the Gold Coast four years ago, I found not only a day care for my little girl but also an extended family. Small World is more than just a child care centre, they are a warm, nurturing and educational environment for my daughter, and a loving and caring support for me. They feel like family - taking my little one to Small World is more like dropping her off at an Aunt's house where I know she is safe and more importantly happy. There simply aren't enough words to express how grateful I am to my wonderful Small World family.

I have two children who started in the babies room, one has moved through to toddlers and one is in junior kindy. I can't speak highly enough of the attention to detail the staff of small world show my children and myself. The main educators provide constant feedback and are not afraid to mention the negatives. The other staff are always very happy and they talk to the children very professionally, the staff really want to be there. I have witnessed very small turn over in staff in the two and half years I have been involved with small world. My youngest will begin in babies in May this year. Everyone who asks about the centre the kids go to gets very honest and positive feedback from me. The confidence is building in my children all the time and the staff are very encouraging for them to develop at their own pace. Such a positive environment every day. I will be sad when my children have out grown the centre because I enjoy my time at drop off and pick ups, catching up on the kids progress and meeting talking with other parents. The programs are always changing to avoid getting stale and the children all seem to enjoy the activities and themes.

I looked into Small World after pulling my then 3year old out of another centre that I was unhappy with… I am so glad I did. Since then I have had all three of my children at Small World from the Babies room right up to the After School/Holiday program.I work full time but knowing my children are in safe and caring hands makes it so much easier, especially receiving daily emails with photos and stories about Brooklyn, Kupa and Noah’s day!! The staff are all so dedicated to catering to each families individual needs from working on my sons extremely fussy eating habits to my youngest babies terrible sleeping pattern ;) Each one of my children have developed in more ways than one since starting at Small World- For that I am so so great full. My children and I really do feel like we are apart of the ‘Small World’ family- It’s true what they say- It really is a home away from home.

I was recommended to look into small world child care for my two children after my family moved to Australia just over a year ago, it was the best decision I ever made. I am truly amazed at how much my children have developed and grown since starting at small world childcare. My 4year old can write her name, she knows her numbers and letters not only identifying them but writing them to, my 2year old is singing the alphabet and identifying his colours and shapes. I am so proud of how well they are doing. Miss Kika truly is an amazing woman with a beautiful kind heart. She has set up a fantastic centre with such lovely and professional staff, who always make you feel welcome. I rave about small world childcare to anyone who will listen; it truly is a home away from home. Thank you to all the staff for the amazing job you are doing.

My daughter Ella started at Small World when she was 6 months old in January 2012. I was invited to come and see the service as they have an "open door policy". When I arrived, I was introduced to the service's Director Tammie and the babies room staff. After being showed around, I was very relaxed in my decisions to send Ella to Small World. The staff are extremely accommodating and listen to the parents. Ella has been attending for two and a half years now and during this time she has learnt so much from the Educators and has gained a lot of confidence which I credit to the staff. Ella has built life-lomg friendships with a lot of her peers and always asks to go to kindy! I have no hesitation in recommending Small World to anyone and would like to thank everyone at Small World for making it such an enjoyable place for Ella to attend. Thank you Kika, you have a great Service and Ella absolutely adores you and all your staff.

I loved sending my daughter to Small World, just watching her face light up when she met Kika and the teachers made me feel totally at ease while I went to work. My daughter even told me off for picking her up early one day because she was having so much fun. We still visit Kika (many years later) and love watching the effort that goes into making a family environment for these children and share delightful stories of why the strawberries don't grow (we had seen the flowers being picked for daisy chains). Thoroughly recommend Small World

I would like to specially thank Miss Kika, Miss Tammie-lee, Miss Alison for the great care and love you have given to Jessica & Olivia for the past number of years.
This last year has been a very difficult one for us, but with all the love & care from Small World Jessica & Olivia have made it through happy, caring & loving kids.
Not to mention the extra support that you have given me, i am very thankful for.
Small world isn't just a daycare center it is an extension of our family, with members that go well beyond the normal to care & love for the parents & children who attend the center.

I know Kristy got a chance to thank you, but I also wanted to express my thanks. Over the last 10 years I have greatly appreciated how you have looked after and set all 3 of my kids up for school. From the ever present Kika, Tammie and Alison to all the other amazing educators, I have always admired the dedication you have shown. I would definitely recommend Small World and am thankful my kids all got to experience your great centre!

My 3 girls have only been at Small World for a short period of time but I can't thank Kika , Tammy-lee and all the staff for the incredible care and effort they have put in, in looking after my girls. I am so grateful for everything they have done for them and the rest of my family. I highly recommend Small World to look after and teach your children. They are so caring and wonderful. Thank you.
Small World daycare is a family owned daycare. The staff members are amazing. The owner of this daycare, is there everyday. My twins adore her. They make beautiful food, which my boys love. Please don't hesitate to send your kids there. I cannot recommend it enough.
